SONG I'M LOVING RIGHT NOW: Any song that talks about life's being so freakin' unfair...
Wanna know why?
For over a week, Mel, Anaw, Fiona and Eka have been excused from their classes (for whole days, mind you) so they could work on the props for the Sci-Yaw (it's a science month thing; an interpretative dance competition). I visited them almost everyday, and I saw the really good job they did (I wish I could post a picture of the finished product here, but I couldn't. Sorry). Two or three days before the contest, I joined them in doing their work. It was almost done, so I just helped in doing the finishing touches. Finally, it was finished. We, being the people who created the big painting, were really proud of what we did, especially when people told us how utterly beautiful it was.
Yesterday afternoon, me and my batchmates were at the West Central Elementary School to watch the Sci-Yaw. Our group was the second to the last to perform (there were nine contestants in all). The first seven groups were alright (we were laughing at the group which had Pringles-shaped skirts, and the group which had a girl who had little butterfly wings strapped to her back). Then, it was our group's turn and, BOY, were they good!!! They were easily the best group there!!! The last group was ayt...
Then came the results:
3rd place: Contestant number 7!!!
Us: Whoo...
2nd place: Contestant number 9!!!
Us: YESSS!!!!!!!!!
1st place: Contestant number...
Us: 8!! 8!! 8!! 8!! 8!!
Announcer: ...5!!!!!!!
Contestant number 5: WOOHOOO!!!!!!! YEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! YAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!! YEEEAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Us: ..........................
We were speechless; too dumbfounded to react. I mean, how could they (the judges) let those freaks with mediocre talent win over our excellent, cut-above-the-rest dancers???!!! The "winners" had so many mistakes...
On the way back to school, me and Mel hardly said a word to each other. We were both really upset. I mean we - they - worked their butts off on the background!!!
I kanda agree with the GM Fiona sent before the announcement of winners:
"i doubt it..."
I kinda knew she was talking about the judging...
Back at school, me and Eka were ranting at the top of our lungs in the bathroom. I'm pretty sure you would do the same, had you been in our shoes.

Anyway, on the brighter side of things, I learned how to drive an automatic today. Nothing big, really.

I hate her. I'm mad at her. I never wanna see her face ever again.
But I wonder why my heart still seems to melt everytime I hear the songs "When You're Gone" by Avril Lavigne and "Who Knew" by Pink. Do I still miss her?
