SONG I'M LOVING RIGHT NOW: "The Best Damn Thing" by Avril Lavigne
*I still don't have a copy of her latest CD (which, by the way, contains this song). But I was able to borrow Fiona's copy. Maybe I'll just burn my own copy, instead of buying one. MAYBE...
I'm back, I know. Haha...
Something's wrong with Globe. I can't load ANYBODY (In case I forgot to mention it, I'm an AutoLoad Max dealer).
====================
Last Tuesday, I had one of the most life changing text message conversations of my life of my life:
Ms. Blind Item: May galit ka ba sakin?
Me: Wala
Ms. Blind Item: Sigurado ka?
Me: Yup
Ms. Blind Item: Ano yung nasa blog?
*What was going on in my head that time: She read that?
Me: Galit ako sa'yo nun. Pero ngayon hindi na.
Ms. Blind Item: Ay ok. Sorry
But it didn't end there. We started wxchanging these really, shall I say, dramatic text messages about our friendship and stuff like that. I checked her blog, and I saw some stuff in there about me.
That time, I felt angry, confused, hurt, guilty. Of what? I dodn't even know.
After that I realized how wrong I was about her. She's still the same old person I made friends with a few years back. i just jumped to conclusions too soon.
Dude, I’m really, really sorry…

SCHOOL TIME AGAIN
The first three days was great (we started last Wednesday). A bit less than what I first expected, but it was alright just the same.
Here's the lowdown of what hapened then:
FIRST DAY: We all found out that we had only one newcomer. JUST ONE NEW FACE!!! His name's Marlon Fernandez, Jr. He came from a school in Tayug. 'Nuff said.
Ms. Cecil, our adviser, gave us our permanent seating arrangements that afternoon. I'm seated on the first row (or the last row; depends on what angle you look at it from) on the second to the front line, behind Rose Ann Unlayao, in front of Katrina Pasion and right beside Mark Gigante. Plus: me and my seatmate both wear glasses.
SECOND DAY: The stupidest, most embarrassing thing happened to me: when I arrived at school in the morning, I looked around me, but the only two people I saw were Paula and Jazel (both SSG officers last year) and they looked as if they were guarding the stairs going to our classroom. So I rushed to the quadrangle so I could join my other classmates in our line formation. But just as I was approaching the door to the quadrangle, the booming, microphoned(?) voice of Mr. Baldelomar suddenly said "Please pass." My classmates (plus me) were all laughing.
Great. My second day of school and I succeeded in humiliating myself in front of my batch. What a great way to start the year.
We elected our class officers. Jing is the president, Paula is the vice president, Jamy is the secretary, I'm the auditor, is tghe muse and Robert is the adonis (talagang pinagsama ah). I'm not sure who the other officers are though.
Mr. Chan gave an orientation. His tummy grew bigger. It protrudes a hell of a lot more now than when I last saw him.
Charlyn and I went to the Newton main office to get our UPCAT forms (and the forms of Fiona, Eka and Cham). But we stayed there for about half an hour, 'coz there was a lot to talk about, like the campus tour, the refresher and stuff like that.
*Note: The refresher, accrding to Ate Maggi (Santos) is a test sorta like the actual UPCAT. Yikes!!!
After that we went back to school for the catechist meeting. We were a bit late since when we arrived at the AVR, Sister Althea and our fellow catechists were already there. Good thing a few - no - a lot of people came in after us.
Long story short: Sister informed us that the Fourth year catechists would be having another "entrance test", something a little bit more difficult than the one we had last year (that test, according to Sister, was invalid). She also told us that the test would be based on the stuff found in the handouts she gave us last year, which means that I have a big chance of failing 'coz I've forgotten what in the world is in those handouts.
Guess I'll just have to wish (or better yet, pray) for the best.
THIRD DAY: Mrs. Valle drafted me into Paula's party (I'll be running for P.I.O. against Yani). Paula's rival for the SSG Presidential seat? Melanie Bacareza. Good thing someone finally agreed on running. That has been Mrs. Valle's problem for MONTHS.
I don't feel good, you know, running against a close friend.
But me and Yani both agreed that this whole election thingy is just a game. The outcome wouldn't change anything between us.
Ate Maggi left me this cute, pink little stuffed toy rabbit. I love this girl, really.
And me and Minette came up with a name for the wittle bunny wabbit: Maggi Rubbit. Maggi 'coz, well, ate Maggi gave it to me, and Rubbit 'coz we got a little tired of hearing the word "rabbit" so we changed the letter "a" into a "u", thus the word Rubbit.
Mr. Baldelomar oriented our class, and by the looks of it, Economics (the subject he teaches) plus tghe way he teaches it would be complete and utter NOSEBLEED-mania!!!
That afternoon, we attended our club meetings (Non-Academic). Me and some of my fellow Book Lovers went to the library for the meeting, and, like what we usually do on first meetings, we elected our club officers. And I was elected president! Sweet. But it also means a hell of a big responsibility. Almost all the officers were either from Fourth year or from Third year. The only "other year" offiers were the First year and Second year representatives.
This happened mostly 'coz only a few Freshies and Sophies were there.
Lui came to visit. Oh how I missed that girl!!! She had her hair relaxed. It looked great on her, really.
Well, gotta go. I'll try to update again tonight. See ya then!!!Labels: catechism, school, The Best Damn Thing
