So May 4 was our last day at Newton Study Center. Before we said our final goodbyes (naks), we checked the Math and Science parts of our Finals, and miraculously, I got a higher score in Math than I did in Science. That came as no surprise to me though, 'coz the Science bit was really a brain buster.
This day didn't turn out as "normally" as all the others did: all of us in the back row were a lot noisier than usual, and Sir Andrew got so pissed that he called someone to the board to answer another freakin' math problem; and there was some sort of a shouting match between Kuya Dalvie and Kriziel. The latter was really pissed after that, as well.
Then there was this guy, apparently a teacher from Newton Urdaneta, who came and helped us in checking our final exam. But that's not the point. The point is that, when he came in, my companions in the back were all like "Uuuuuuyyyyy", and Kuya Dalvie was like "Bakit ganyan ang reaction nyo?".
I have to admit, though, Kuya Jaifred (aka the above mentioned guy) was a bit cute. Plus he was nice. My friends immediately fell for him. I think even Job has the hots for him!!!
We had our picture-taking session after we evaluated our teachers and Newton (and that was after we checked our exam).
And since our review there is over, I think it's high time that I introduce to ya'll the people whom I met there:

Ma'am Melai
-Trigonometry teacher
-a bit boring the during our first lesson, but she improved as days went by

Ma'am Ria-Physics teacher
-probably the liveliest, perkiest, craziest pregnant woman I've ever met in my whole life

Kuya Dalvie
-Geometry teacher
-he, too, was a bit boring at first, but the real him came out after a few days
-he's the INTARMED guy who's name could be seen on one of those big yellow Newton streamers in front of Kingfisher

Kuya Andrew
-Arithmetic and Algebra teacher
-if ya'll think he looks like someone you know, that someone is Cledan Rosario. This guy (Kuya Andrew) is a real brainiac, but he's as strict as he is intelligent.

Ate Althea
-General Information and General Science teacher
-dig this: she's only 16, but she's really good, and knows a lot about what she teaches

Ate Irish
-Abstract Reasoning and Math (in Filipino) teacher
-kinda shy, but really nice
-if you think she looks younger than me, that's 'coz this picture was taken about 2 years ago, when she had her CER at Newton

Ate Drizzle
-Biology teacher
-she's the one who kept on having those "wardrobe malfunctions". But apart from that, she's kinda nice

Ate Cynthia
-she's the one in charge of recording our scores in our exercises and in our long tests. She's kinda like our class adviser
Ate Roma (no picture available)
-English teacher
-she's the one who promised me that she would give me a prize 'coz of my "almost perfect" passing streak in English. Unfortunately, that didn't push through
I'll introduce to ya'll my classmates some other time, as soon as our Newton class picture is posted on Newton's Friendster account.
After we said our final goodbyes (naks again), me, Fiona, Cham, Eka and Anaw went off to watch Spider Man 3 (Karissa wasn't able to join us 'coz she and her family had to go home to Tarlac). It was really a good movie. Easily the best in the trilogy.
Well, gotta go.
PS. Fiona, THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU"RE THE BEST!!!!! TC...
