SONG I'M LOVING RIGHT NOW: Kelly Clarkson's rendition of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"
*It was part of the Beatles medley which was performed last night (the Season 6 Grand Finale) by all the past American Idols (yes, Taylor Hicks was included, but Fantasia wasn't there) and this year's Top 12.
Anyway,

THE NEW AMERICAN IDOL!!!
She did really great, and she's only 17! I think she's the youngest to ever win the title. And her voice is very powerful for her age. I love the way she sang "This is My Now"; so full of emotion. More power to her.
Too bad Blake didn't win. I mean, he deserved the title, too. His beatboxing is off the hook!!! But, I gotta admit: his beatboxing is better than his singing. And his voice isn't as versatile as Jordin's.
But he DID do a really good job last night, when he performed with Doug E. Fresh. It was beatboxing showdown galore!!! I loved the way Blake said 'Oh my God!'. So cute!!!
Anyway, I prefer last year's finale to this year's finale. I mean this year's guests were, shall I say, a bit OLD. Their music hit the charts before our parents were even born.
But I really enjoyed watching the awarding of the "Golden Idols ". So funny!!!
I wish Chris Daughtry had saved his performance (the other night) for last night. *Sigh*. I miss that guy's singing.
I also wish Taylor and Sanjaya didn't perform. It's bad enough to see just one of them. But seeing them both on the same stage? Total BUMMER.
======================
The start of classes in DS was moved to June 6. Yipee!!!
Speaking of classes, me and my classmates are a bit confused as to which section (of Fourth Year) is the first section: SAG or SD? We'll just find out when classes start.

Let's jump to something more important, like the fact that I am now fully capable of driving by myself!! I mean, without assistance from my dad or anybody. Haay...My old man has taught me well.
It all started yesterday when my dad saw that I was almost dying of boredom. He told me that, if I wanted, I could borrow my bro's FB and have a ride around the subdivision which we live in. Of course, I said yes. I got a bit nervous, though, when he told me that he wouldn't be accompanying me, but I got over it.
Instead, I was accompanied by my niece (she's 3 years older that me, and she doesn't know how to drive).
Our ride went pretty well, until we came upon this place which was unfamiliar to both of us. We thought we hit dead end, and I was a bit worried 'coz I still didn't know how to drive in reverse, and the only visible curve was the one behind us. But when we drove in a little further, we saw an exit. "We're saved", I thought.
But apparently, I wasn't.
When we arrived home, my dad made me park the car. Sounds easy, right? But it had to be parked paralell-y to the elevated whatever-you-call-it in front of the house. It took me around 10 - maybe 20 - minutes to get it right. But at least I did...
It was also yesterday when Ate Luisainvited me to watch Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End with her. Unfortunately, I had to turn down her offer. Secret na lang kung bakit...
Hehe...Gotta go...
