WHAT'S STUCK IN MY HEAD: "Call Me When You're Sober" by Evanescence
*I fell in love with this song the moment Gina Glocksen sang it a few weeks ago on American Idol.
Speaking of Gina Glocksen, it was her turn to get the boot on American Idol. She was one of my idols in the competition. I thought of her as a jelly Clarkson clone, 'coz she's just as talented as Kelly is, but I do agree to the fact that her performance was a bit bland last week. Oh the nerve of those Americans, voting Gina off and keeping Sanjaya in the competition. Gina is MILES better than Sanjaya!!! The people at FOX agree. One of their questions for Gina on the night after she was eliminated was, "Sanjaya is still there, only a fraction of your talent. How do you feel?" Good thing she was able to NOT verbally abuse Sanjaya, which is what I would've done if I were in her shoes.
Anywan, here's the blind item which I was supposed to post a few weeks ago. While we were practicing for the recognition day a few weeks ago, THIS FRIEND of mine walked up to me and told me about one of her book hunting adventures. She was walking along DOWNTOWN when she came across this BOOKSTORE, and the bookworm in her came alive again, so she decided to walk in. While she was looking at the titles of the books on display, she came across one with a really interesting title: "In The Flesh". So, making no second thoughts, she bought the book and brought it straight home. What she didn't notice was the book's subtitle, "On erotic romance..." She only realized what kind of book she bought when she was at home and reading it. It had very graphic descriptions of two people having, well, you-know-what...I would really love to tell you the name of my friend, but I swore not to. Ehe...
By the way, today was the first day of our Newton Review, and me and my companions (Cham, Fiona, Karissa, Nico, Erika and Cham) made a really good first impression: We were about 10 minutes late. Almost every one of our batchmates was already in our assigned room, and they already started taking their simulated exam. Bryan was one of them. The little jerk didn't meet up with us in school. And speaking of the simulated exam, it almost blew our heads off!!! I mean it was sooooooo FRICKIN' HARD!!! My head was aching after I was done. But at least I passed (barely), and I can't wait to see the ranking, which they (the Newton people) will post tomorrow.
I still have got a lot to say, but Cham and Issa have deserted me, so I really have to hurry and log out. See ya!!!
