They just announced the ranking and the different awardees a few minutes ago, and guess what? I am the "Best in English and Oral Communication" awardee!!! YIPEE!!! Ala lang. But to tell you the truth, I don't think they really meant to give me that award. I feel like it's just sorta like a compensation for the fact that I'M NOT INCLUDED AMONG THE HONOR STUDENTS, unlike before. Haay...
Anyway, I forgot to tell you in my past entries about the recently held celebration of the visit of the World Youth Day Cross and the replica of the Icon of our Lady. We celebrated it in St. John Cathedral School, and there were, like, SO MANY PEOPLE. We were there, sittin' down on the floor of the gym with so many people from so many different schools, listening to the voice of the gay emcee (who turned out to be Louise's cousin) and watching the representatives from the different schools dance their arms off while waiting for the arrival of the cross and the replica of the icon (but we didn't know that it was just the replica until they told us about 9 hours later, after it already arrived. That was at about 6 o'clock). Anyway, after lunch, me and some of my companions ditched whatever those guys in the gym were doing and spent our time going around the SJCS campus, and it was just then that we realized how spacious SJCS is, not to mention the fact that it has a lot of twists and turns (literally) compared to our school. But to tell you the truth, compared to our school, it's a whole lot cleaner and a lot more student-friendly, 'coz almost every corner has a canteen, and the place where we hung out (I think it was at the center of the campus) was very airy and spacious. I was, all the time, thinking to myself 'Why didn't my mom enroll me here?". Haha!!!
Anyway, like I said, the cross and the replica arrived at about 6 pm, and before that, I was thinking that it's arrival would be, like, "wala lang", but when it did, I felt really different inside, I had sorta like a special feeling in me. I felt really elated. Even my mom felt that way when she saw the cross.
A lot of things happened to me then: I got to really talk to my friend Beverly, got to learn some really bad stuff about Romeo, saw my former classmate and arch enemy (Sonia), saw my friend from DWAD (Alexi), finally got to see the interior of Louise's house and got a really good laugh after Khay bumped her head on a steel pipe.
By the way, we're supposed to be attending our Geometry/Trigonometry class with Mr. Colas right now (I'm with Cham, Charlyn, Bryan and Lorena), but those guys whom I mentioned are all done taking their final exams so the teachers wouldn't give a damn even if they missed all of their classes, and I'm kinda getting tired of Mr. Colas' boring lectures, so here I am in the Internet lab with them. Haha!!!
