Woohoo!!! We so totally rocked MC during our jamming session yesterday!!! Well, naturally, I would say that, 'coz I'm part of the band. Heje. But seriously, we were able to perfect Magbalik and Insane by Callalily and Irreplaceable by Beyonce (yeah...We sometimes do RnB...heje...), plus we just need to polish Take Me Away by Pinkslip a bit more, but at least we played it a bit better that last time (and Fiona's becoming a lot better at playing the drums). And we thought she wasn't gonna make it (she was absent at school), but she arrived just when we were about to start. Talk about good timing. But our vocalist, Charmaine Valle couldn't come because she had to accompany Majie to the dentist, so Anaw had to take her place at the microphone. And speaking of the microphone, it was one of the only decent things left with us during the rehearsals there because me and Erika broke one guitar string on each of our two rhythm guitars, and when the new guitars came, the chord of one of them got destroyed in some way, courtesy of Anaw, so Sir Third (yup...his nickname is Third) had to take it away so that all that was left to us was one guitar, the drumset, the bass guitar and of course, the microphone. We payed for the damage anyway, so there was practically, no harm done. heje...

Anyway, Sir Gerold (my former instructor at MC) invited us to rehearse one time for free right IN FRONT OF MC, where a whole bunch of passers-by could watch us play. We were a bit hesitant at first, but then we gave in. Me and my bandmates are thinking of playing there in the afternoon (around 5 o'clock) of the last day of the final exams (March 23), then we would invite anyone from DS who would listen to watch us perform. That would be our first real(?) gig!!! I'm really excited, but at the same time a bit nervous, because we're not that ready yet. But we would be practicing in school (without a decent drum set though) because we're pretty sure that our parents won't allow us to rehearse at MC a week before the exams.

So for all you guys who want to watch us LIVE, be there!!! Just make sure you don't laugh when we mess up...heje...

By the way, I am so hating those American's right now. Those American Idol contestants whom they voted into the top 12 weren't nearly as good as some of the guys who got eliminated (aka Jason "Sundance" Head and Sabrina Sloan). They even voted that Indian guy Sanjaya Malakar into the Top 12!!! He isn't even that good!!! Even Simon hates him as much as I do!!! Sheesh. I guess Ryan Seacrest was right when he said that, so far, this season of American Idol has had the most shocking voting results ever. I can see why.
